One fine day I awoke to the realization that age had descended like gravity upon me. After flailing about briefly trying to elbow my way back into my 30’s, it dawned on me that this next season is The One! This is where we get to feather our empty nest, date our spouses, speak more boldly, enjoy the fruit of wisdom, love our people loudly, pass the torch, and tackle some of the adventures we’ve only daydreamed of until now.

Like writing, for instance. Brace yourselves. There are a lot of words waiting behind this dam.

I hope you’ll make my blog a frequent stop on your own journey. You don’t have to be a Boomer or even a Babe to hang out here, but if you are, you’ll find we have a lot in common. Let’s normalize this next season and navigate it together with grit and grace.
